This plein air painting was done standing in the ditch on the side of the road with trucks whizzing by behind me. When I work plein air, sometimes I drive along slowly looking around to find an image that captures me and then I have to capture it! This was looking west to the Rockies with lovely rolling ranch land between here and there. 8x10 framed
